Measuring the evenness and depth of parallelism
The evenness error of grade - one optical flat is no lager than 0.03 μm ,
and the evenness error of grade-2 is no larger than 0.01μm

(a) Measuring face evenness error : smaller than 0.03μm for grade - one smaller than 0.10μm for grade - two
(b) Depth of parallelism error : smaller than 0.20μm

The set of four optical parallel flats can be used to measure the parallelism depth deviation
of the milscale's two opposite measurement planes ; The deviants in four directions including
